Snowdon by Night
If you’re looking for bucket list inspiration, why not add, “conquering Snowdon while taking in unforgettable views of the night sky” to your list?
We’re looking for volunteers to join us as we climb Snowdon by Night on 8 – 9 May 2026. It will be a tough climb in the dark (that’s the fun of the challenge!) but it will be so worth it!
Led by experienced Mountain Leaders, this climb will test your limits. If you’ve climbed Snowdon before and you’d like to take that climb to the next level, this challenge is perfect for you.
Snowdonia is one of only 24 international dark sky reserves in the world, giving you the opportunity to experience the night sky like never before. Take in the majesty of Snowdon by moonlight as you trek up the highest mountain in Wales (1,085m) and take a moment to turn off your torch to try and spot the milky way – all while raising money to make a difference.
The money raised from this challenge will go directly back into the industry, allowing those who need it to access mental health support, financial aid, bereavement services, legal support and so much more.

Itinerary:
Friday evening (or very early Saturday morning):
00:30 Meet your Mountain Leaders at the pre-arranged meeting point
00:45 Safety brief and introductions to your Mountain Leaders
01:00 Depart meeting point in SILENCE and with all torches turned off so as not to disturb local residents
01:30 Ascend Llanberis path
05:00 Expected time at Yr Wyddfa summit
05:30 Approximate sunrise
05:45 Latest departure from summit
09:15 Arrival back into Llanberis (via the Llanberis path) on Saturday morning followed by celebration breakfast at a local cafe/hotel (venue TBC)

Become a Challenge for a Cause Sponsor
Every year we do various ‘Challenge for a Cause’ events, and you could become a sponsor of them all for £15,000 per year.
We have been to some unique and spectacular places including, Everest Base Camp, the Grand Canyon, Machu Picchu and Kilimanjaro to name a few!
As one of our key fundraising activities, a lot of our marketing is focused on promoting the challenges and as a sponsor you will get:
• Full marketing campaign across all media platforms throughout the year
• Challenge specific marketing campaigns in the run up to and during each one
• Company logo on all challenge for a cause event webpages
• Flag with your logo on that is taken on all the challenges and promoted across social media

Sponsor a Flag is a great fundraising scheme which provides all our individual fundraisers with a unique opportunity to raise funds with a branded flag to inspire supporters as an alternative way to attract donations to our worthy cause.
You can give a hand up to our challenge for a cause campaign with sponsor a flag. Your chosen explorer will carry your company’s name with them all the way through their adventure, where once they reach the summit or finish line your company’s flag will receive a crowning moment of glory.
