The Electrical Industries Charity (EIC) are beyond grateful and incredibly appreciative of The Lighting Industry Association (LIA) and their amazing team of industry partners for taking on the unforgettable challenge of climbing Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) in the dead of night to raise funds for the Electrical Industries Charity. Their determination, dedication and hard work is truly inspiring.
On the night of Saturday 15th March, the team embarked on this unique and physically demanding challenge, aiming to raise awareness for the importance of high-quality, compliant emergency lighting whilst also supporting those who come to face tough times within the electrical and energy sectors. The climb wasn’t just about endurance, it was about showing solidarity and giving back to our industry, with every step taken in support of EIC’s vital services.
Thanks to the generosity of the LIA team, their partners and all those who supported the event, an incredible £2,170 was raised for EIC. This amount will go directly to providing mental health support, financial assistance, family aid and many more support services to those facing difficulties within our industry.
We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone involved for their hard work and dedication and for demonstrating the true spirit of giving back. The funds raised will make a significant impact and help us continue to support those who need it most.
Thank You, LIA, for your incredible efforts! You’ve not only raised vital funds but have also shown the power of collaboration and community. We’re proud to have you as part of the EIC family.
