These informative and insightful sessions are conducted online, featuring a diverse array of speakers who delve into crucial topics ranging from mental health awareness to financial assistance.
Join us each month on the first Wednesday of every month 8.30am – 9.30am , when our expert speakers will offer invaluable information and unique insight. The speakers will be offering their personal experiences and practical strategies absolutely free to support the overall development and well-being of our industry

Addictions
Mark Dempster has been a practicing psychotherapist and drugs counselor for the past twenty years. He currently runs his practice from Harley Street where he specialises in addiction issues.
In his autobiography Nothing To Declare, Mark charts his early life and his journey from heroin addiction, dealing, drug smuggling, homelessness and destitution to pulling his life and around, becoming clean, through to his transformation into one of the most respected addiction councillors in the UK
The Power of Talking, Benefits of Counselling
Chris Jones (MBACP) is a fully qualified integrative counsellor who is currently providing counselling services at Islington MIND, as well as seeing clients in his private practice in East London.
Chris is also a professional skateboarder and an ambassador for Skatepal, a non-profit organisation that supports young people in Palestine through skateboarding. Additionally, he is a trustee for the Ben Raemers Foundation, a mental health charity that supports the de-stigmatisation of mental health within the skateboarding community.

Sophie Trotman is a nutritionist and workplace welbeing expert based between London and Lisbon. A prior career in Tech B2B sales means she understands the challenges that employees working in an office or from home can face.
Now equipped with the most up-to-date, evidence-based research, she offers insight and actionable tips, that will help to transform their lives and their work with a key focus on body positivity and empowerment.
Embracing our Differences
Combatting Shame and Embracing Our Differences, Neurodiversity
Rob is a qualified Person Centred Therapist (PCT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) for children and adults. He has have been practising counselling PCT & CBT since 2020, having previously worked for over 20 years with children and adults with complex needs in residential and educational settings. He has experience working within family settings and mediating between families.


Mental Health Awareness
Andy is a bloke on a mission: to get people sharing the weight on their shoulders! As a longstanding Samaritan, Andy understands the value of talking and has set himself the challenge of sharing his 24.7kg sand bag with one million people. This weight demonstrates the troubles and struggles that every single person carries with them, 24/7, except this weight is visible and tangeable, unlike our mental health.
Andy will be joining us to discuss his initiative and how we can all be proactive in ‘sharing the weight’!
PRIDE month – Gender Understanding
David Hull-Watters is a leading inclusion and wellbeing consultant, who has claimed several awards for his commitment to ensuring not only a more inclusive workplace but a more inclusive future for all. He is an Associate Consultant and Trainer for the Employers Network for Equality and Inclusion and EMBED Inclusion. He was also awarded the Vodaphone World of Difference Award for his pioneering work and is now a popular choice as a speaker for corporate and public events, discussing his expertise in neurodiversity, conscious inclusion, inclusive leadership and recruitment, inclusive language, disability confident practice and allyship and LGBTQ+ issues.


Money Matters
Coping with Financial Stress and Avoiding Financial Vulnerability.
Anna has a diverse professional background, having spent 20 years in publishing, marketing, advertising, and events before retraining as an Integrative Counsellor. Her personal experiences left her financially vulnerable and motivated her to pursue a career in financial planning.
She holds a BA Hons in Fashion Promotion, a Level 6 Diploma in Integrative Counselling, and a Diploma in Financial Planning. Anna combines her marketing and counselling expertise to offer empathetic and non-judgemental financial planning services, aiming to help people avoid financial hardship and achieve a rewarding and secure future. She continues to run her counselling private practice online and advocates for the benefits of a portfolio career.
Personal Story of Overcoming Challenges
Elliot is an Electrical Contractor with his own business and a busy family life.
He is passionate about breaking the stigma around mental health, particularly in our industry.
He found himself in a dark place and has had to overcome several personal challenges including addiction and alcoholism. It got to the point where he knew he had to do something about and embarked on his transformative journey.
In this talk Elliot shares his story with us and how he managed to get things back on track.


Suicide Prevention
We are teaming up with ANDYSMANCLUB to talk about suicide prevention. We both want to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health and create safe, judgement-free spaces for men to be open about the storms in their lives.
ANDYSMANCLUB offer weekly, free to attend peer-to-peer support groups for men aged over 18 and focus on raising awareness and spreading the word to as many people as possible.
Domestic Violence
Lucy has worked in the charity sector for many years including working as the Victim Voice Facilitator for Trafford Domestic Abuse Services in Manchester. Working within the community and meeting extraordinary people!
She is a Domestic Abuse Consultant who works with various organisations and is passionate about breaking down the barriers around talking about Domestic Abuse.
Some of the areas she covers are: what is domestic abuse?, the impact of domestic abuse, myth busting, gaslighting and signposting.


Prostate Cancer
To celebrate Men’s Health Awareness month and help you look after yourselves, we are joined by Prostate Cymru who are a leading prostate health charity.
1 in 8 men get prostate cancer, but all too often they find out by complete chance, too late. Prostate cancer isn’t always life-threatening and we want to raise the awareness and educate you on what to look out for, where you can go for help, testing and coping with a diagnosis.
Coping with the pressures of the New Year
We all know the about New Years resolutions but this can sometimes be overwhelming and add pressure that we don’t need. What if we changed that narrative and celebrated New Year, Same You?
Join our Director of Welfare Grace Ellis who will be joined by guest speaker Danny Mouskovias to discuss relieving the pressure at the turning of the year.
