The work of the Charity is expanding tenfold and more people in our industry needing support now more than ever.

The Electrical Industries Charity (EIC) understands how important a support network can be to those who are facing the darkest of times and therefore launched the Employee Assistance Programme (EAP). The Charity’s Programme ensures that employees and their immediate family members have a shoulder to lean on at the most difficult times, by offering them vital support services including bereavement counselling, legal advice and financial assistance and grants.

We are hiring for a Welfare & Mental Health Officer to join our welfare team. The successful applicant will under the supervision of the Welfare Team Manager, support industry members by establishing tailored support plans focused on treatment and problem solution and utilising the available charity resources and partnerships.

The Apprentice Support Programme aims to support apprentices in any circumstance. Recently, Danielle, an electrical apprentice, was put in touch with the charity by her family who reached out when they became concerned by her obsessive behaviours.
