If you give a little, you'll help a lot. We're appealing to you to help specific cases who are in need.

If you give a little, you'll help a lot.

Here at EIC, we’re seeing more and more people needing help than ever before. Without the support we receive from our incredible industry, we wouldn’t be able to do the work we do and provide help and support to those that need it. In some special cases, what we can offer isn’t enough and that’s why we’re asking you for any extra donations, small or large, to directly help certain people and change their future.

Meet Gerard. Gerard is an electrical engineer, and he needs your help.

At the age of 13, Gerard was involved in a devastating road traffic accident and sustained life-long injuries to his leg. Ever since he's been trying to rebuild his life which has been dominated by his accident. To date, Gerard has had multiple surgeries and has had a heart-breaking, 27 operations on his left leg, 2 hip replacements, and 1 knee replacement. Gerard has suffered a plethora of complications that have not only impacted his physical health but also his mental health, making life much more difficult for him to live independently.

Since battling for 40 years, Gerard came to us at EIC for help. After several treatments and exploring lots of different avenues with our Welfare Team, our orthopaedic specialist recommends that Gerard undergoes corrective surgery to maximise comfort and mobility. The treatment, rehabilitation, and travel costs are estimated to amount to an astonishing £35,000 and we’re appealing to you, to ask for your support please, to help change Gerard’s life forever.

Any donations, big or small will make a significant difference to Gerard and give him the opportunity to live life again.

Thank you as always, for your kindness.
