The Electrical Industries Charity relies solely on fundraising to provide life-changing support to individuals and families in the electrical and energy industry. Simply put, we couldn’t do what we do without you.
Without the incredible things our community does to fundraise for us, our charity would not be able to do what we do. Our fundraisers help us raise the funds and awareness that allows us to extend our services to more people in our industry than ever before.
It’s amazing what you can achieve once you set your mind to it. Running, hiking, skydiving, baking, cycling and so much more – we are honoured to see you reaching your goals, surpassing your targets, and experiencing that feel-good factor that comes when you know you’re making a difference.

How to Get Started
Tell us your plans
Fill in our fundraiser form and let us know a few details about who you are and what you’ll be doing. We’ll support you by sending you resources and promoting your fundraising on our channels.
Create your fundraising page
To start fundraising, you’ll need a fundraising page. We recommend using our partnered platform, Enthuse, but you can use any platform you like to get started.
Celebrate what you’ve achieved
You did it!

EIC Day
If you’re looking for an easy way to fundraise and raise awareness of our vital charity, we welcome you to celebrate EIC Day with us!
Every year on 10 September, we celebrate the EIC’s birthday in the most meaningful way we know how: by moving together for mental health. A simple walk can be powerful, and when we do it together, it becomes unstoppable.
In 2026 we’ll be walking 13 miles across central London and would love you to join us by organising your own challenge wherever you are!
Whether it’s 10, 5 or even 2 miles. No matter how you choose to move, you’re making an impact.

- Spread the word: Share internally with your organisation and encourage others to join
Collecting Donations
Once you’ve planned your event, you need to think about how to collect your donations. There are plenty of ways to do this, either through an online fundraising platform or collecting donations personally and sending the final amount to our bank account
Online Fundraising
This is the simplest and most secure method. Our preferred platform is Enthuse, but we also have profiles on JustGiving and Crowdfunder.
Bank Transfer
If you’ve collected donations, you can transfer them straight into our bank account. (Just make sure you let us know first!)
Don’t Forget!
Ask your employer about ‘matched giving’ – many employers will match £1 for £1. You don’t know unless you ask!
Your Moment
We will shout about your fundraising event in our monthly LiveSpark newsletter and across our Social media channels.
Why not also contact your local press to see if they’ll cover the story, making sure you get as much publicity as possible.
